Home Services: Collaboration

Collaboration in divorce

In collaboration, each party has an attorney to educate him or her as to rights and options for settlement. The parties, the attorneys, a divorce coach and in some cases a financial planner work together to design and negotiate the best possible outcome for your family. Everyone on the team makes a commitment to complete financial disclosure and to resolve all issues without seeking court intervention. Collaboration creates a safe context for fostering constructive compromises while maintaining civility, privacy and the best possible co-parenting relationship where children are involved.
