Collaboration

Collaboration in divorce

In collaboration, each party has an attorney to educate him or her as to rights and options for settlement and to support and facilitate settlement discussions. The parties, the attorneys, divorce coaches, a financial planner, and as appropriate a child specialist, work together to design and negotiate the best possible outcome for your family. Everyone on the team makes a commitment to complete financial disclosure and to resolve all issues without seeking court intervention. Collaboration creates a safe context for fostering constructive compromises while maintaining civility, privacy and the best possible co-parenting relationship where children are involved.
